Why I am on wireless broadband

Although I live in a bustling metropolis, wired internet service was not an option for me. I settled into an area that providers deemed worthy of only so few of their connections. Wireless broadband was my next best alternative. I dropped by one of Sun Cellular’s shop to sign up for their Sun Broadband Plan 799. Armed with one ID, I paid for one month advance and went home with a SIM. I inserted it in a USB modem and plugged it into my desktop and I’m online. That was more than five years ago. Back then, internet plans in the Philippines were mostly time-based. Each plan gives subscribers a corresponding amount of time for internet access with no limit to the bandwidth or volume of data that can be consumed.
